First time to Amsterdam...
What can I expect the weather/climate to be in Sept? Also, do we spend more time indoors or outdoors? :helpme
Are there must sees/do's while in the city? Can I get a volunteer tour-guide?:1orglaugh |
Expect rain, rain, rain :)

I just checked your pic. This thread should be filled with volunteers for a tour guide soon.
I am from Rotterdam (other big city in the Netherlands) so let me know if you want to see this city. If you just want to see Amsterdam let me know as well and I will pretend to know the ins and outs. :) |

Museums are open though! Offcourse there is the famous Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam. The Rijksmuseum has a special expo on Rembrandt since he died 400 years ago. Rotterdam has an excellent museum as well called Boymans van Beuningen. Work from Rembrandt, Berugel, Bosch, da Vinci and many others. Rotterdam is about an hour away. It is famous for its port. Depending on how you measure (how do you measure?) it is the biggest port in the world. Rotterdam is also famous for his architecture : http://www.beeldmaker.nl/kubuswoningen.jpg http://www.skylinecity.info/rotterda...s/lz%20432.jpg http://www.skylinecity.info/rotterda...s/nz%20667.jpg Offcourse The Netherlands are famous for windmills, cheese and beer as well. I am not sure what you are interested in. I will be in the Netherlands from september 10 till 20. Would love to show you something you like! 238-879-738 info AT gloryhole.nl :) |
