How do sites like RAPIDSHARE survive?

They have 2 times a 10000 MBit/s line and a 2000 MBit/s
Hardly any advertising.
For 9.90 euros, people can download at speeds faster than 3 megabytes/s without any limitations...
Even without being a premium member people can download huge files at insane speeds...

Any reasonable explanations ?

They do sell gold accounts. Dont know if they sell a lot.
