Nope, heard very little in the dozen threads about it.

Apparantly he was driving while under the influence of alcohol, which as you may or may not know is against the laws governing the State of California.

Yeah, Mel Gibson, hes an actor. I guess he was in a bunch of those moving picture shows that all the kids are talking about. Anyway, he was operating a motored vehicle car while maintaining a blood-alcohol level that is above the legal limit as set by the laws of the great state of California (California became a state on September 9, 1850. Their main agricultural outputs are vegetables, fruits and nuts, dairy products, cattle, nursery stock and grapes. Their industry sector consists mainly of electronic components and equipment, aerospace, film production, food processing, petroleum, computers and computer software and tourism.)

I don't see anything about it on CNN. If Mel Gibson (One of the finest Actor/Directors of our time) was stopped for operating a heavy machine like an automobile in a reckless fashion it would be all over the news.
