Let's assume that the Democrats manage to take over the legislative and executive branches of this government. Contrary to what most of you think, thats a long shot. Still, it COULD happen.

So say just for arguments sake that the Dems take over Congress, and then the White House. This is what will happen:


There will be a MAJOR attack in the contiguous United States within 6 months. Probably less than 6 months and probably one that will make 911 look like a training maneuver.

Negotiate? There is a big difference to the IRA and this situation. The IRA did not have a "daras islam" theory whereby they needed to take back every piece of land, (including Spain), that was EVER occupied by muslims. They also did not believe that everyone that was not of their faith was a potential target. They also did not want to live in a theocracy and force that theorcracy on the rest of the world.
