So I was sitting on a bench in the park when two Negros, a white woman, and her nigglet sit down nearby.


One of the Negros has a section of the New York Times with him on his lap.

I thought "That looks out of place."

But the mystery was soon solved.

One of the Negros pulled a cold bottle of beer out of his backpack, wrapped it in a sheet from the newspaper and handed it to the other one.

Then he did the same for himself.

I think there is a "paper bag" law in our city about drinking alcohol in public.

By the way, the white woman was smoking in front of her niglet.

I'm not sure what brand of beer it was. It was a green bottle, about the size of a Heineken. But I could tell from the top part of the bottle that wasn't Heineken.

A regional malt brand, no doubt.

It was probably the classified section. For some strange reason, I might have more respect for them had it been the business section.

The niglet was so cute.

But it didn't seem like either of the Negros was the father.

At least neither was acting like the father.
