I like this laptop, but . .

I guess I type too hard or lay my hands on it too hard, as I am constantly getting words mixed together.

For example, the sentence above may turn out like:

I guess I type too hard or lay my hands on it getting words mixed together. too hard, as I am constantly

Anyone else have this issue, and if so, how did you prevent it?

Toshiba Satellite R20, but I used to have it happen once in a while on my Dell, but seems to happen a lot with this one

i think i have the same problem with the same laptop
are yout alkinga bout when you are typing and sometimes your cursor jumps to the middle of what you are typing?

if so only way i found to solve this was to turn off the touch pad and just use an external mouse :(

Maybe it's your touchpad 'sensing' movement and relocating your cursor as you're typing. *hence why I can't STAND touchpads*

Like everyone else said, it's the touchpad.

That crossed my mind, but I have been making a concerted effort to avoid it.

I use an external mouse anyway, know how to turn off the touch pad?
