I'm a newbie to the adult industry but very interested in learning more about it. After all, it's a 56 billion dollar industry.

I'm looking to create a website that offers free content. In exchange, I'll put ads on the site and hopefully I'll make a profit. Question: How do I find free videos? I've seen a couple sites that offer full scenes for free. How do they find these? Are they downloading all the content from a large website like videoz.com and then uploading it to their site? Isn't that illegal to share movies for free even if you paid for them? Or does that not apply when they are just 5-10 minute scenes?

Well the way to get started in this industry is like you say yourself, make a free website with some content for your users. You'll find sponsors with free content everywhere in here. They offer material that you can use for free on your website to get visitors and get them to spend money. And you will get provision everytime one of your visitors spend money on one of your sponsors.

If your looking for videos for your website, I recommend Nasty Dollars. They offer lot's og Picture and video galleries for your website, and also is't converting very well (converting is when a visitor to your site spends money on one of yoursponsors)

Also I like Brain Cash. Also with alot of free videos you can put on your website for your visitors.

As far as the content goes, I've recently stumbled across a site that doesn't appear to be using content from providers like nastydollars. They just post the actual video...so the user doesn't have to go to the tour page. The videos appear to be from videoz.com, bangbros.com, collegefuckfest.com, etc. Is this legal? Could I buy a membership to bangbros.com, download all the vids and then upload them for people to view for free? I'm pretty sure this is a no-no.

The way that works is that you sign up to be an affilliate. As an affilliate the sponsor (the site you signed up to promote) will give you specific clips from larger vids on their site.

You can put these clips on your site and offer them for free to your visitors. Around those video clip links will be advertisements for that sponsor (where your visitor can get the full vid or other similar vids). If they click the link and join the site, you make money.

Basically a free site is simply free samples. A lot of surfers are just interested in the samples, but others will decide they want more. Your sponsors will give you the free samples for you to give to your visitors. You can only use what they give you permission to use. Most will help you if you need something specific.

One of the best ways to start out is by creating galleries and submitting them to other tgp's. Then create a tgp of your own. It's a long explaination which shouldn't be covered in a thread here. You can learn more by using google, looking through the forums here, or by looking at the tutorials at http://www.tgpfactory.com
