some populations and cultures are destined to be more successful than others. stronger thrive. weaker die. new are born and grow from the ashes.

AIDS is not a random epidemic that plagues a helpless population. Its a disease passed by direct physical contact from willing participant to willing participant. Its nothing more than a symptom of the broader issue of a culture not being selected by nature for survival in the modern world. its not a bad thing.. its the will of god, or a natural function of nature (which ever you choose to believe)

if you'll study African history you'll find that English Christians forced the gov to colonize to convert the heathens . . no gov has ever done anything other than lose $$ in Africa although some private companies have rather done well . . every system set up to replace colonial rule has failed . . you can see how well the blacks have done with s Africa . . they took a wealthy country and turned it into a disease crime ridden slum in no time at all with one of the highest crime rates around . . any monies given to the aficans is stolen by the varuios govs and then they blame whitey for fucking them over . . just like the hiv in africa

He is not the only one question that a retrovirus is causing AIDS. There are 1000s scientists questioning it among those are nobel prize winners, but yet no scientific payper allows them to publish their researches. AIDS industry is top money.

Check www.duesberg.com for more. Actually just few years ago the scientist that discovered HIV now re-tract this statement and says that HIV virus alone is not leading to AIDS but need a catalyt.....nice step back.

As a nurse I have watched many die from AIDs caused by HIV, watching people die from AIDs was my job for 5 years. I topped up my degree with a masters in Microbiology so I could understand what I was watching.

Anyone who is qualified to have an opinion that says HIV dosnt cause AIDs has an agenda. Its actually pathetic that anyone who knows anything about AIDs would say anything so ridiculous. :mad: :mad:

Got a UK Doc here who works with us (nothing to do with medicine) - he specialised in tropical medicine and spent a few years in Africa dealing with aids patients - hard to miss them, depending on the location.

Other thing... which I think is amazing, people who have been blind for most of their lives - he used to do a lot of eye surgery and remove crap and let them see for the first time in years. Simple operation and costs nada, but sure has an impact on an individual :)

I've been living in South Africa since 1996, so here's what I think:

1. South Africa has never been a wealthy country - you're more than welcome to check the GDP per capita and how it progressed, it is the biggest economy in Africa (although there're couple of African countries with higher GDP per capita)
though. Since the blacks took over SA's economy has done really well - stable growth close to 5% and they're aiming at 6% - will it be achieved or not we can only see in time.

2. The "wealthy country" you're talking about had 96% of the population living in extreme poverty, the black government had built more than 2 million houses for poor people since they took over, and a "black" middle class has emerged which definitely is a step in the right direction.

3. South Africa has one of the most progressive constitutions in the World, if I'm not mistaken gay/lesbian marriages will be legal by the end of the year too.

The black government does not see the high crime rate as a big problem and that IMO is absolute stupidity, 58 people die in Iraq every day, 51 get killed in South Africa every day, the conflict b/n Israel - Lebanon took 1000 lives in 30 days, meanwhile 1500 people got killed in South Africa during the same period.

I think that the human life is the most precious thing on this planet, the South African black government doesn't give a flying fuck that about 200 000 people have been slaughtered since 1996, the most despicable crimes happen in this country every day, babies getting raped and killed, criminals torturing people for their money, gang-rapes, three-four days ago a man was arrested with human brains and lungs in his bag - these are the so called 'mutty' killings where they kill people and use their body parts as medicine (very rare but they should not be happening at all - it is 2006 after all, not 2000 before Christ).

Why does it happen? Because the government does nothing - that's why. They're trying to justify this with the wide spread poverty, but there're at least that many poor people in China and yet the violent crime there is 100 times lower - because if you kill in China it is very likely;y that you will be setenced to death and executed and that is the way it should be!!!!

I have seen quite a few people dying from Aids - people I had known and people I had worked with, all of them are black!! Does that mean that a white man can not get AIDS? Hell no, but white people in South Africa are as well informed and educated as in Europe for example, the know what the risks are, how to protect themselves, and what possible treatments are out there, they also have the means to buy antiretrovirals if they have to.

Black people on the other hand (the vast majority) are poor(er), have little or no education, and a lot of them believe in their traditional healers - fact that the traditional healers can use to enrich themselves.


The government and AIDS - the South African health minister is a the most stupid woman in the World which IMO should be jailed for not preventing THOUSANDS of AIDS related deaths. Many African countries have managed to contain the spread of AIDS and are making real progress, but not South Africa, over here the mortality rate of women ages b/n 20-40 years have doubled in the pst 10 years - all that thanks to the dangerously STUPID South African government policy - they claim that nutrition is the key for figting AIDS, the idiot that calls herself a healt minister tells the South African people that if you have AIDS you should eat garlic, onion, and beetroot - CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS????????? I have no problem with people being stupid, I have a HUGE problem when STUPID people directly or indirectly cause thousands of deaths.

Blacks in South Africa have never been wealthy. It was only a prosperous nation for the few million whites that lived there. However segregation has been replaced with corrupt leaders (a problem endemic in Africa). The common folk is beat down by Black leaders. People with little to eat and that only know squalor usually don't care very much about wearing a condom when they have sex. They don't care because they don't feel they have a future anyway. To suggest that social policy is some form of natural selection is a complete mischaracterization of evolutionary theory.

to be honest we can't do a darn think to help the 3rd world . .the issues there are way beyond monitary . . there are vast cultural probs that we can't help . . and this is the real prob . .
