When the new luggage security measures came in , I was happy - why? coz i knew the price of flights would go down and for someone who travels as much as I do - that can't be a bad thing...

had this argument with someone the other day> for someone who is a frequent flyer the latest upstep in security measures can only be good.
If you believe all this terroirism talk then the security will help to keep the air safe and if you're liek me and think its all a bunch of propaganda . then you still benefit by getting cheap flights.

the threat of terrorism has always been there on a plane... \but there area LOT of other thigns that can wrong with a plane too - liek the engines blowing up ... to date this has happened FAR moretimes than any terrorist threat yet people still continue to fly.

in England a shit load of buses got blown up supposedly as part of a terorrist attack- yet in every city of the world people are still riding buses.

I wouldn't fly Ryanair if they paid ME. They treat disabled passangers like crap, for years have barely been checking passports of people they let on their planes, they don't clean planes between turn arounds and the owner is genrally an ass . Whilst I don't wish any damage to anyone I would be interested in seeing what happens if a Ryan Air flight got hit. Frankly, an Irishman telling London police that stopping white people to look for terrorists is wrong needs to shut up. He is just complaing to get publicity.

You've got that completely backwards. The price of short-haul flights will go UP if the new measures stay in place. It's the reason Ryanair has started court action aganist the UK government. Their whole business model involves reducing luggage in the hold as much as possible and the new measures only serve to increase it.

Oh - and don't forget to add the price of any luggage you have to that 99p. They charge you per suitcase each way.

I didn't say that at all. However, the IRA hasn't exactly let the public transport system go untouched in the past. My point was that London has had more damage done to it by white terrorists. So, to say that we shouldn't be paying attention white people at a UK airport is stupid. You can concentrate more on another group but people don't forget their history that fast.

It also isn't like members of the IRA have never been involved with training other terrorist groups in the past.
