Brainy quotes by your President
Our paradigm now seems to be: something terrible happened to us on September 11, and that gives us the right to interpret all future events in a way that everyone else in the world must agree with us. And if they don't, they can go straight to hell.
If the personal freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution inhibit the government's ability to govern the people, we should look to limit those guarantees. You know the one thing that's wrong with this country? Everyone gets a chance to have their fair say. Sometimes I think I have no idea how I got to be president, and I am sure the people who oppose me don't either, The purpose of government is to rein in the rights of the people. We can't be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans... When we got organized as a country and we wrote a fairly radical Constitution with a radical Bill of Rights, giving a radical amount of individual freedom to Americans, it was assumed that the Americans who had that freedom would use it responsibly ... [Now] there's a lot of irresponsibility. And so a lot of people say there's too much freedom. When personal freedom's being abused, you have to move to limit it. |
He's not my president, I didn't vote for him. Either time. :disgust

i always love reading these types of things ... some of the shit he says is crazy ... the people that write for him must want to kill themselves
|
His radical views on radical personal freedoms are very scary, but I would radically say that this is fairly typical of the radical right. lol...

or my personal favorite, "most of our imports come from overseas"

I going to have to add a few of those :thumbsup
Ladies and Gentlemen, The President of the United States |
Gosh, he must be really nuts! To think that Islamic extremists, who have lived their lives in squalor, knowing nothing but hatred for the western civilization, would want to hurt our wine guzzling, cheeze eating fat white asses. I mean like, how much oil could "I" possibly use, just driving to work, flying off on vacation, not to mention the electricity "I" use playing on my computer. I think we should elect a President that would kiss their ( the terrorists) asses. That way, we could all live in squalor. Oh how wonderful!!!!:thumbsup

Looks like Young George is mastering the imports biz - both statements have been attributed to him at varying times:- "The vast majority of our imports come from outside the country." "Most of our imports come from overseas." Here's a few more... "The best way to get the news is from objective sources, and the most objective sources I have are people on my staff who tell me what's happening in the world." "It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it." "Quite frankly, teachers are the only profession that teach our children." "I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good judgments in the future." "Public speaking is very easy." :uhoh "If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure." "Those of us who spent time in the agricultural sector and in the heartland, we understand how unfair the death penalty is." "I understand small business growth. I was one." "Republicans understand the importance of bondage between a mother and child." . "One word sums up probably the responsibility of any Governor, and that one word is 'to be prepared'." "I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully." "I believe we are on an irreversible trend toward more freedom and democracy but that could change." "It's time for the human race to enter the solar system." "I am not part of the problem. I am a Republican" "The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation's history. I mean in this century's history. But we all lived in this century. I didn't live in this century." "Illegitimacy is something we should talk about in terms of not having it." "I stand by all the misstatements that I've made." (Got to give him some credit for that! :winkwink: ) On contradictions:- "Israel needs to pull out of the occupied Palestenian lands immediately." but "Israel has a right to do whatever they believe is necessary to defend themselves." "Yassir Arafat is irrelevant." but "Yassir Arafat is the representative of the Palestinian people and a valued negotiating partner." "The current middle east crisis is the result of former President Clinton's efforts to broker a peace agreement." but "The middle east crisis is not the fault of any current or former President of the United States." "Castro has developed biological and chemical weapons of mass destruction and exported them to Libya and Iran." but "We have no evidence that Castro has developed chemical or biological weapons." And... nothing to do with anything... an inscription on a tombstone:- "I TOLD YOU I WAS SICK" Finally... coming to a theater near you ----- http://files.tagworld.com/96de6a6153...1ab6b2815.jpeg |
