In nature the spider wouldn't stand a chance. The ants would fetch their sisters, not to mention soldier ants and they would kill the damn spider. This was a fair fight. Ants don't fight fair. That's how they win.

yup, if the spider was thrown in front of the ants colony, there would of been thousands of ants running on the spider in minutes. Besides, thats a tarantula. Alone it must be at least 5 times heavier than all 30 ants combined.

Thought the ants would have won, no real surprise though

the ants weren't attacking. When ants attack they go for the legs and immobilize their prey, then a couple of them jump up on the back and saw thru the head.

These ants were just running around, the spider was the only one fighting.

i just showed that to a friend of mine who served in the military...he said he is pretty sure that is a camel spider or it looks a lot like it...he said they would set up fights with those spiders and scorpions in iraq / kuwait...
