Are there companies you won't promote because of who reps/sigs for them?

I don't care if a program hires some idiots to promote them in their sigs...that is business and part of the game

but when a company comes along and hires people like klikcash did, total idiots that are JUST here to whore their sig and never post anything useful, that pisses me off and shows a lack of care in regards to the quality of the board

Very much so although often it's the 'owners' rather than reps who cause that for me. This is business, business requires professionalism, if I start working with unprofessional people then I deserve the problems that will eventually cause.

It's amazing how many people deal with known scammers or obvious total idiots then bitch later about soandso having ripped them off.

Yep..several programs I would NEVER do business with based on the way the reps/program owners conduct themselves here...

And the same holds true for businesses that I DO , do business with based on the way they conduct themselves.

If somebody is promoting a program with sites in markets such as BBW and gay but constantly insults those groups I make the choice not to promote those sites.

It does influence my inclination/reluctance on either working with them myself or referring them to others.

exactly sarah. why would you want to put money in the pockets of those people. I thought out in the real world an employee was a representative of the company they worked for no matter what it was they did. sig whore or not

I have a few on my ban list, and I am sure I am on a few peoples also. You can't please EVERYONE... though I do try. :)

Yep. Any company promoted by JDL or NOFX gets no business from me.

Hooray! One of the best answers! I have had the same people who trash "FAGS" on the boards ask me for my gay traffic... And it won't happen!

Let's say a particular company was sending you 5k per month. Would you drop them because you don't like a particular rep? Hell no!

Let's say you're not promoting a particular company for the reasons you stated and they launched a new innovative product or service that fit right in with what you do and could potentially make you 10's of thousands of dollars. Would you change your mind and give it a shot? Hell yeah!

That's why I try to stay drama-free.

yes there are so many sleazy people in this business. We are all here for the money... Some people just have ethics
