Its because they shave clicks like crazy. Or as they would put it, they have their own way of counting clicks (probably second page uniques). When I changed a lot of Nasty Dollar galleries to Platinum Bucks, keeping the same level of traffic and same text links (I never use the banners), they counted an insanely low amount of clicks in comparison.

Of course they're going to have an opinion on this. It is like asking an Opel dealer whether he prefers an Opel or a Ford.

If they have their own way of counting clicks... do they also have their own way of counting signups?... hmm... :uhoh

Listen Mike, I know I cant keep everyone happy all the time, there will always be few people that have something bad to say about any program.

But let me address the issue.

Platinum Bucks counts 2nd page raw clicks. RAW clicks is not UNIQUE clicks. The ratio for clicks we count to 1st page hits is around 50-60% of total 1st page hits.

Many Many programs count 2nd page Unique or 2nd Page raw as we count hits.

Every program counts different, if you are using a partnership program they all count 1st page uniques. Does that make that way counting hits correct? If you use another program they may use 2nd page Unique (which counts 30-40% of hits) does that make that program bad for counting hits that way?

The bottom line is you should be following your SIGNUPS/MONIES EARNED. You should however keep in mind how different programs track. This is true, because a 1:1000 ratio with a partnership program will be like less with Platinum Bucks and even less with programs that count 2nd page UNIQUE.

But the bottom line, what it all comes down to, let me know if I am wrong. Is the ALL MIGHTY DOLLAR!!! The check you get sent to you. Can you trust your program, do they have a long track record of paying, do they have a track record of honesty, do they have on average good converting sites. Platinum Bucks has all these, we have been in business for 3 years now with a crystal clean record and we strive to keep this that way that is why we have grown so much over the past year.

I know part of success brings nay sayers that will try to bash our program, I accept that, thats just part of growing large. I do not get mad when I hear someone talk bad about Platinum Bucks, I try to understand where they are coming from and improve on it.
