Jaystrades.com III launched (third time is a charm)
 

OK, if any of you webmaster types are looking for hardlink trades or would like to have you site exposed to a lot more trading possibilities -- this is the place to do it:

The new version has been gutted from bottom to top and is super-clean (it?s almost like a combo of Google Adwords and Myspace now). All of your pervious trades still work and all old accounts are still active. It still spiders and removes all cheating / dropped links.

All you really need to do is:

1. Create an account.
2. Add in your trades with keywords.
3. Put the include code at the bottom of pages you would like to trade on.
4. Start searching for trades.
5. If someone wants a trade an email will go out to them. The trade must be approved by both parties before it goes live.

Jaystrades.com supports straight recip (A>B) trades and non-linier trades (A>B>C).

I realize the two previous incarnations were not as complete as they could have been and had a few bugs. Login and check out how far this project has come.

You must have the pages with the include set up to parse for PHP or it won't work correctly.

It seems that the Page Rank #s are a bit off, at least on my sites.
It shows me that http://www.longestlist.com is PR0 when it is PR5...

Also how do you add the invocation code on .shtml files?

I have to say, back before I freaked out and took all my pics down, I put my sites on Jay's LL and got some AWESOME traffic from him - best of the LL sites, in fact. Just some back up from an old chick from the old days ;)

Yes, you just have to set your htaccess or server up to parse those pages for php.

Is it best to put under straight and add keywords according to my niches?

No can do for .shtml
I tried adding AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .shtml to my .htaccess and that fucked everything up LOL

Asked my host and they said they can make it work on .html but not on .shtml

Tried making a file named jay.php and using the <!--#include virtual=" function on the .shtml file but that doesnt seem to work with your script either

P/S Cant redo the site from .shtml to .php because then ill lose all the PR / link trades that I already have.

In the jay.php file--
change
&script=".$_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME']);
to
&script=/index.shtml"); or &script=/");

and it should work I believe

The new thing is that after changing that all pages have the same links:

http://www.longestlist.com and
http://www.longestlist.com/categories/amateur.shtml
http://longestlist.com/categories/teen.shtml
have the same links at the bottom....

Yes, if you are linking different pages as shown, you will need to add that page name and extension for each page to match with Jay's database.

&script=/teen.shtml");
&script=/amateur.shtml");
using just the "/" will only be good for root pages

oh, don't forget to add the subfolder in there-- i.e. "/categories/teen.shtml"

edit--
so you will need a jay.php for each page-- maybe teen-jay.php, amateur-jay.php etc.

Cool, a bit of work but at least it will be possible now :)
