Dogs:

I am caring for one of my son's dog. The dog is a mix of Chinese Charpae (spelling) and Doberman.

It has a Doberman's color, is not as tall as a Doberman, has a big thick head and large mouth (unlike a Doberman), is more muscular than a Doberman (it is heavily muscled and is very strong), is a real people dog, and is smart as a whip. It also dances and walks upright for quite long periods of time. A very interesting dog.

Does anyone else have an unusual mix of dog?

You asked about my use of the colon just recently. I find it amusing that you have taken an interest in my use of the colon.

Just don't like the colon?

AIRBORNE!

How hot is it getting in Fresno? I have been using the cooler every day where I am at (actually more than I need too, but I like comfort).

By the way my oldest daughter moved out of LA and bought a home in Visalia. How many miles from Visalia to Fresno? Thirty minute drive?

We have a miniature pinscher. He's pure but is a bit oversized as I neutered him young so he's a little chubby.
He is very funny and I think because we've always talked to him a lot, he makes a lot of noise and always tries to talk hehe. He growls, grumbles and whines, and does strange combinations of those noises, and its just very odd sometimes.

He also does this thing when we put him in his kennel/cage when he gets bratty... he'll rest his upper lip and nose on/in one the little cage/bar openings (hope this makes sense)..... and his upper teeth are bared. I need to get a pic of this someday its really funny. It looks as if he is smiling at ya, nose all scrunched up, and he'll whine as he does this. The dog is such a clown that we just crack up all the time, and he is extremely fucking twisted and spoiled because he thinks everything he does is funny and he loves the attention. There is almost no punishment to this dog because he does the most retarded things and makes the weirdest sounds so we just laugh at him.

When he's not harrassing my cats or being obnoxious, he is completely sprawled out on the couch in various exaggerated yet comfortable positions. At night he is under the covers at the foot of the bed.

My wife and I have a Min Pin. We haven't neutered him but he too is overweight, he begs for food, and even though one should not feed a dog human food, we can't resist. He will also try to talk to you. He is also spoiled and sleeps at the top of my head on the pillow, unless it is cold then he is under the covers.

We spent $1200.00 on a fence so he could go outside, and naturally he likes it better inside, but does take some rays on occasion.

We have advertised for a Min Pin for him to mate with but the ones that have called have papered Min Pins and ours is not papered. He was actually a stray, but we could not locate the owner, though we advertised for a month, so we kept him. I would bet that the original owner had papers on him, as he is clearly a pure blooded Min Pin.

I have a dog I picked up when I was living in the Caymans. It appears to be a chow mixed with every other dog on the island. Resembles a coyote quite a bit. Great personality. Probably has a little Jamaican in him too since he doesn't like going in the ocean.
