I hear you. While I love the munchkin, his first day of 5th grade was today, which means I have now worked 4 hours straight without an interruption.

That makes me smile.

LOL! I have been counting down the days too. Reminding them each day, "only X amount of days til school starts!" Today was their first, also. It's nice so far. The house is so clean.

Brandon99 08-15-2006 09:55 AM

HAPPYPEEKERS 08-15-2006 09:55 AM

GUNNER 08-15-2006 10:26 AM

I spent a few hours with my niece last night, that's enough kid time for me for an entire month. I love kids, as long as they're not mine.

your children will not need an old daddy (if you will be able to become a daddy at that age) :)

It's the most wonderful time of the year
With the kids jingle belling
And everyone telling you "Be of good cheer"
It's the most wonderful time of the year

Was it Staples that did that back to school commercial a few years ago?

Good for you. Just make sure you could still catch up on this precious moment called 'fatherhood'. :winkwink:

Even roaches have kids, so let's not pass off the critical, holier than thou pretentious assessments of when having a child is appropriate time. Let's also not become big headed on a topic so subjective simply because you've a roa....kid of your own.

Besides, a child with any father, is a child brought up well. Tell a 7 yr old who grew up fatherless, he could have "had" a father - but he was 43 yrs old at the time of inception, which some bimbo deemed him "too old to be a daddy". "Too old to have an impact on a child's life".

Amusing perspective, truly.

I just sent my son off to first grade about 5 min ago, I'm kinda all choked up :(
