Any better way to start the day?

My boy, at just 1 year and 18 days, refuses to let me go to work. This morning, any time I'd try to leave, he'd crawl as fast as he can across the living room, down the hall and right to my feet... wanting up.

Each time I'd pick him up, he'd put his arms on my shoulders, and lean his head against me... so very happy just to be in my arms.

It made it rough getting out the door, infact, I ended up being late this morning... but nothing in this world could make me refuse him when he wants me.

There's no feeling like it in the world.

No kids here, but I know what you are talking about. It's gotta be an amazing feeling and it keeps you going each day I'm sure :-)

RF_Erick 08-15-2006 07:28 AM

It is an awesome feeling.
I have a 1 year old girl and a 2 1/2 year old boy.

Wow, that reminds me of my Baby sister when she was younger. Touching man.

born4porn 08-15-2006 07:30 AM

I'm about one year and 15 days away from that. My son is only three days old. :) But I can sure relate already now.

You have an entirely new world of little moments like that to live between now and then.

Savour each one of them. :thumbsup

You will surely miss that moment when your kid reaches the age that he can stand up on his own :)

Every moment is followed by a new moment. That's all the more reason to take it in as much as you can, before the next one arrives.

Nice post Poppa Stuart...

I don't have kids, so for me a great way to start the day is by launching the morning missile. It just puts me in the right frame of mind.

After that, my routine is coffee, breakfast, check the news, check e-mail, a little peek at GFY, and then I begin creating erotica for the masses.

Life is good...
