This is because we have a low barrier for entry in our industry and anyone with half a brain can do it. However making money at it takes business sense.

Heck, there are people who left adult, went to mainstream, couldn't make it and are now working on getting back into adult. IME, it's the easiest money I've ever made and I'm 44 and working since 16 :)

Exactly. It's amazing how many people don't think that it's actually work. If you work hard you can make a living fairly easy still. Just got to know how to sell.

The best advice I ever saw on a board was a newbie walking in cold asking "Can you guys teach me how to make $30,000 by the end of the month?" and the reply was "yes, walk into a bank and fill out a loan application."

two reasons:
1-The government making life living hell and
2-people are catching on that the same marketing rules apply to mainstream except you don't get the clap. (did I say that out loud just now?)

Try starting a new site today.. go the same old route with tgp traffic. Buy it or pay a person to build galleries.. most likely you will go broke. then you are back to your day job. I have a lot of customers who do so many clever things besides what I just said. Some of them are simple and you would be surprised how productive they are.

Ok I'm confused. Are you suggesting doing those things and most likely you'll end up broke or stating matteroffactly dont do it, do something else to make money?

Truth. Add some of those who got in when it was easier and can't survive today and you can see why the business is centralising. Is that the right word?
