Anyone have the capability to record / tivo something and get it online?

When I lived in Canada I built a tivo using Linux and MythTV, and it would save every show as a seperate divx avi, but I can't help you now :(

Yeah i had a mythTV box
saw it on techtv how to build it
but lost it in a move :(

I know this would be too late for today but you do realize that for $30 you can get a device that will allow you to watch and record tv shows right on your computer, don't you?
