When Do Kids Go Back To School?
 

somebody was telling me their kids go back to school in a week or so - wtf is up with that? i mean little kids - elementary and junior high schoolers. is the tradition of going back to school after Labor Day over?

Yep, they go back on the 21st here.

Sept 8th.... High School, Grammer and pre-k

College kids go back the last week of Aug.

In my town they started today. In other counties around here they started last Monday.

This will be the first year I have had all 3 of our kids in school...

I am thinking of going back to college and finishing up my Psychology degree since all the kids will be in school every day.. I have waited 15 years to finish.. maybe it is time :thumbsup :winkwink:

it varies, i've heard from mid august to early sept.
im just paying attention to when the college kiddies go to school hehe :pimp

About the same time every year that GFY gets quieter from 9am to 3pm.

Youngest started today and the oldest starts Wednesday (private school)

My 5th grader started today. Phoenix is all over the place though. Some started last week, some dont start until the beginning of Sept.

The first week of september here..

The munchkin starts tomorrow. We just got back from paying his book rental fees, finding his new classroom, etc.

My kids just finished on Friday (year-round school) and the school year starts up again on the 28th, but my son is on Track 1, which starts the year, so doesn't go back until September 18th

mine started last week.

most countys in florida don't start school at the same time.

YARGH! Same here. They started last week, but it should be mentioned they get out a lot earlier than most places as well.
