I have only used 1 sponsor the last 3 - 4 years.

If you tried a lot of them out and found one that make you the most, that you can cover all traffic sources with, that pays you on time every week, then why spread it around to other sponsors and make less.

Topbucks would be my choice fto cover the variety of traffic I have.Plus I would go revenue and not pps .At the moment I would've earned $50 per sale if I had of gone revenue sharing.

and anyone who believes that is fucking stupid, in regards to pay per signup sites. funny thing is 90% of you guys believe the " don't put all you eggs in one basket theory" lol.

I make 95% of my affiliate income from 1 sponsor already and have for quite some time. I have links up to about 4 sponsors, but thats it. And they're all very large sponsors.

I know others like only small sponsors, or only one processor, or one 3rd party stats package, or whatever other criteria.. but I tell ya, for me, large sponsors who manage their own stats and use multiple processors are absolutely the very best there is.

I got tired real fast of small ones closing up and having to delete links. Small processors closing up and having to delete thousands of more links, and on and on and on with the little issues until you're blue in the face and trying to reach 100 minimum payouts until you dont even know who a check is from anymore and have to ask. Forget it.

ya same here. i have a teen blog that i have to go through the links monthly just to see who closed up shop or, even better, those who have closed up affiliate programs but still have the websites up (so we dont get the credit). :disgust

Exactly right. Having all your traffic going to 1 sponsor, or having ALL your sites on one server for that matter, isn't the smartest thing to do. Diversity has always been key for my business, because sponsors do crap out from time to time, so do servers and hosting companies. If you're diverse enough and your business is spread out, you won't feel it nearly as hard if part of your network disappears due to one of your sponsors dying. If one of your hosts craps out on you then only part of your website network goes down, now all of it.

having all your traffic go to one sponsor CAN be extremely beneficial.... just think about this

If you send 50 joins a day to 10 sponsors you are not a whale at any sponsor... if you send those same 50 joins to one sponsor (different tours obviously) you will be a whale and you'll get a LOT more per signup.

Here is a little education or you those of you who obviously don't know. If you think "putting your eggs in one basket" is bad etc. then listen up.

Like i said this is for pay per signup sites Only. I would not send all my traffic to a company where i get paid mainly only rebills, customer who rebuy, etc. In that situation, you could spend years building up a customer base and if they ban you or they go out of business then you lose a lot of future income from future sales.

For per signup programs:
1. I use all my own content, so if i get baned or company goes out of business I can switch to a new one within a couples hours.
2. You need to use a sponsor that allows you to cover all niches, etc.. For example with clickcash I can cover every niche, asian, bbw, to spanish, teens, etc. I can also promote it as a mega avs type site, a membership site / solo girls site (using the girls fan clubs), a mega porn site (millions of pics and videos), a webcam site, a dating site, etc... SO i can cover just about everything with it.

You need to do simple math. Lets say I tried all other sites and clickcash makes me 5% more then the next best one. Say I make 20,000 a week. So if I listened to all you brilliant people (mostly who just repeat what you hear other brilliant people saying) and i split my traffic up and only sent clickcash a fourth of it, then I would be making:
1/4 traffic: $5,000 ClickCash
1/4 traffic: $4,750 Second best site
1/4 traffic: $4,750 Third best site
1/4 traffic: $4,750 Forthbest site

I would lose $750 a week by diversifying.

After about 7 months I would have lost $20,000 in sales.

What is the worse thing that can happen if clickcash banned me or stopped sending checks ? I lose 1 week's income ($20,000). So my break even point is about 7 months (at 5% but i think i do better then that with then compared to anyone else).

Now if i would have listed to you guys, Over the last 4 years I would have lost over $150,000. So how would all my eggs in one basket hurt me again ? Not to mention the intangibles of being a big sponsor for 1 company vs a medium one for 4 companies.


Sorry no cliffnotes and if you don't understand the math don't worry about it, just keep doing what you are doing.

Actually I am off. I forgot to take into account the clickcash volume bonus, so I would be losing a lot more then stated in my example, I would have lost A LOT more then i posted. What I posted would be good for pps sites that do not offer a tier payout scale.
