Do you still like to Fly ????
Well yes I love to fly. Have been a huge fan of it since the first time I ever went on a Airplane. Was for my 7th Birthday, my father bought two round trip tickets for us and we went to Chicago for lunch. One of the greatest childhood memories I have.
NOW WTF ?? I'm starting to worry about flying this is bs. I have to ask question about what I can and can't take on the plane. Get to the airport HOURS ahead of time. Take your shoes off, lets look through all your stuff - Then the last two times I have come back to MY COUNTRY now called HOME LAND. " what did Hitler call Germany ?" I have been questioned and had all my stuff gone through. Yes when coming home. All the borders I have crossed in the last 2.5 years the only one to Delay me Question me and down right scare me have been in the HOMELAND. Tomorrow I fly to Michigan to vist my Mother and Family "my father has passed in 97" Should be easy and I want to go however this shit with bombs and the security is kinda scary. Then on Sept 4th again to Budapest, I guess I'm not so worried about going it's more like getting back to HOMELAND..........will they let me in ? will they even be flying ? When will the next Terror Attack put a end to all so called FREEDOM ? OK just ranting. How do you feel about this ? What has changed for you and traveling ? |
i must admit i hate the thought of having to fly :(

btw. do you still like to take the subway?
|
I don't really like that anyway
|
flying is boring as fuck, i hate it. Waiting waiting waiting. i dont hate it cuz it may be 'scary' or whatever, i hate it cuz it's annoying as hell to wait everywhere, at the airport, in the plane... fucking annoying.

it beats the hell out of driving
|
i fly.................

Hey Ram, how about flying in those stunt planes.
I have 0 problem to fly cause I don't put myself in jeopardy by flying to a highly targeted country like the US. I am taking the longest flight of my life in October. Should be interesting :thumbsup |
All arabs should be banned from flying or using any kind of transportation, it would saved everyone else time.
or have specific planes for them, let them blow eachother up and no one will care. |
i first flew when i was 2, to barbados, and flew every year as a kid to our house in florida, and our hotel in barbados, and i must say it was more enjoyable back then. no hassles. now it sucks hardcore.

Ram you have every right to be pissed:2 cents:

I love to fly but I'm beginning to hate the hassle. I live 1.5 hours away from the airport so if something's 4 or less hours away driving time, I'm likely to drive.
I'm going to take flying lessons though - might start being cheaper to rent a small plane to fly places :) |
not fond of flying but some tasks cannot be solely achieved over the internet , it's not so much the "terrorist-issue" but having to go through continous "searches/delays" on-route. (interpreted: nipple rings and prince albert do not "clip-on" for easy removal) :)
sincerely ~ ..."beam me up scotty!"... |
i like flying. Some adrenaline in crossing the border - because i always carry some products withme that are not good to cross the boarder with. And the flight is not scary for me. But finally everything is alright.

911 changed the way we will fly, forever. as the years pass, theres gonna be more attempts of bombing or hijacking planes, and even more rules of what you can/can not do (or take) on a plane. if its for my safety, of course its fine. but i only see regualtions getting more and more strict. making something i used to love to do, into a stressful thing that i HAVE to do, in order to get somewhere. blahh.

Don`t like it, but doesn`t affect me !
|
Here's what I don't get - every airport that I've used has a shorter line for GETTING to the security for 1st class passengers, but then you're stuck in the same slow line. If I'm going to pay extra for my ticket, I want my own damn x-ray line, dammit!!
|
It is a necessary evil.
|
Always did like flying - don't matter where - and the smaller the aircraft the better. One of the best regions for that is the Caribbean (fuel is cheap) - and flying around/over some islands.
Commercial aircraft is another issue - avoid all stop-overs in "civilized world" - don't even bother going there - it's not a air flight, just a total hassle. But... there are still plenty places to fly without even seeing any hassle :winkwink: |
Seems more and more people are finding it a Gaint Pain in the ASS !!!
Well looks like Laptops, Ipods etc... will be allowed on the plane. That is cool for two reasons. 1st. I like keeping my electronics with me. There not made for a baggage department of a plane. 2nd. The flight to Budapest is 14 hours of in the air time. I can't even think how out of control the kids would be with out there Ipods, Games, Dvd players ect... |
I still like to fly and don't even think something could happen to me. No worries at all. But maybe its because I fly only within Europe lately.
