Working when there are kids staying with you
 

I have houeguests that were suppose to go home yesterday but have been forced to stay on an extra day while they do work in central London. No problem with that but they have kids and have left them with me for the day. Kind of makes it hard to be a smut merchant. I'm trying to get some stuff done before they wake up. Ugh.

Always hard to do any work when kids are around, lucky i dont have any kids.

If they need constant attention I can understand but if they're ok to sit and watch some TV then go to your office and get your shake on :)

Hack them up with an ax and cook them in a stew, that'll shut the little fuckers up. :ak47:

they are young enough that they need to be watched. I don't have kids so my place isn't made to be able to hide what I am doing.

Italso might not mark them for life but you don't want to be the smut merchant showing kids porn.

Don't they make Nyquil for kids?

I know how you feel. You learn to work when they are not in the room.

Sorry wouldnt know how you feel, When my nephew is over he knows if the office door is shut to stay downstairs and bugg his mom

give them a dollar per hour to post on gfy as sigwhores

True and late at night when they are asleep :)

Right now I am happy for parents that take their kids out to eat for a couple hours :)

I used to work when my son was at school or asleep. When he was in the house the door was always shut.

Very hard to stay away from the childs!

During the (thankfully) brief five-month period I worked at home, I'd either stay up all night or get up with the sun to get my work done. I have two kids, and at the time I had a live-in boyfriend who also had two. Sometimes situations would arise where I'd have to do something in the middle of the day, and we developed a system where everyone would have to go hide in the bedroom, then I'd call them and tell them when they could come out again. Then sometimes I'd have to tell them to go right back in. It sucked, but we managed to survive it without the kids ever accidentally seeing any porn. I do not envy you right now, but at least they are houseguests and they will leave eventually.

That's what your parents should've done with you.

Rent them some video games.. they'll keep them company ;)

Ya it's rough. The nanny just moved out and left us high and dry, had to send the kids to the grandparents until the new caregiver comes in. Just too difficult when you have to be with them but they can't be where you are. :)

yeah, that is the one drawback when my younger cousins and family come stay for a weekend. I try to get up earlier in the morning and work before everyone gets up.

The kids are not allowed in my office, they know the rules and my computer is secured everytime I leave the office. When I am in my office, my door is closed. Me desk and monitors face the door so the only way anyone could see what I am workin on is if they walked behind me. My kids also have a computer but it has the parental blockers and I watch what they access closely.
