How many members does it have?
 

I wanted to know if there was way to find out how many members a site has? Say I have someone claiming they have 500 members how can I find out if they are telling me the truth or just exaggerating (notice I didn't say lying because we all fudge the numbers from time to time) with out them knowing? Any ideas?

No way, unless you hack into their server or manage to find out from their cc processor.

no way to tell its backend.

I use protgp webhosting and on the statistics for my website it shows how many Usernames have entered my Members section:

Try planting a tracking cookie into the surfer's browser that cross references with your referrer link count from your server logs.

if you're considering buying it - have them give you temporary access to the cmi or equivelent.
