I notice a hell of a lot of celeb sites on the net and im sure a lot of it is probably paparazzi stuff or unlicensed content. Are there any true licensed celeb content and more importantly for those of you who promote it how are the conversions?

No licence... your free to steal it ...:)

Some of the best member sections are based off of stolen content. Without piracy and copyright enfringment, the United States would not be what it is today!

while that may be true i only limit my stealing to mp3's and virginities..sorry

and to think i used to run a free celeb pic site.. but was always worried about getting in trouble. pshaw.

i don't think there is any really legit licensed celeb content. but there are a few places (like truecelebs) that you can dump celeb traffic to, and they deal with the licensing/possible copyright issues. if you didn't want to do it on your own, of course.

hah. well obviously i'm sure in the world there's a couple celebs who have sold out to get more exposure/money off the net. always an exception to the rule.

so basically there is no real licensed celeb content and all of it is "public domain"?? correct me if im wrong here..

Public domain only under the Fair Use Act... not for profit and pertaining to news etc.... not for a commercial site to sell memberships to or use for advertising other porn sites. Let alone to sell memberships to see the pics.

Lots are doing it but the celebs are slowly closing in. Sooner than later they will manage to get it all basically shut down, especially if you are a US citizen.

Wasted time and you just open yourself to have all of your other business investigated. :2 cents:
