Advertising Question
 

Hi

Has anyon here ever used offline advertising i.e. Hustler Magazine, Chic etc. to promote a site?

My program is doing real well online and I spent some money for offline magazines but it will be almost 2 months before they are published, so I was wondering.

Why advertise, I would be too lazy to enter a URL from a magazine when I can just get it spammed to me over the net!

The porn mags are now coming into this market and advertising in their own magazines as well as the usual stuff on the net.

They make money if they get the site right. Be warned they're coming into this market in a big way with big archives. They have been buying "non-exclusive" Internet rights for years and scanning the whole set. :(
