Hats off to Adultfriendfinder, a big "fuck you!" to Adbrite for supporting CP

When I see people bashing AFF again I would also like to add something positive:

about 2 weeks ago i reported a site (run by a dutch company) that displays open directories they find all over the internet. (on a side note, a lot of you people need to protect your servers better)

with the right keywords you also find underage content and so i hit up Sean at Streamray and Adbrite, cause Adbrite sells the advertising space all over that place.

While Sean took care of it immediately and blocked all traffic from that site, Adbrite, despite their promises, still has their customer ads all over that place.

so be careful when you advertise with Adbrite, they might put your ads on places you don't want to see them

and thanks to Sean for keeping your word

If they have underage content you should report to the police, not the sponsors.

FBI has jurisdiction, report it to them for starters. Interpol couldn't hurt.

"yes, fbi? i found a dutch site that contains links to underage content."

MaDalton 08-11-2006 02:42 PM

i'm not the internet police, i just hate to see that people make money with other peoples content without paying or supporting the sick needs of some.

wouldn't Adbrite sell advertising on that page it would die quickly cause it wouldn't make money

on the other hand it's good source to go after people who have illegal content on their server and don't know that's public

You report to the police in your country and they take it from there. Surprised?

Wrong. Never report cp to the police. They will just as likely start investigating YOU, the reporter, since there's not a whole lot that local police can do against some site originating from a foreign country. If you want them coming to your house and siezing all your computer equipment then give them a call. I'm not guaranteeing that's what will happen, but I have heard about this happening to more than a few people, both in and out of this business.

The best place to report cp is to the people who are there to handle it, such as ASACP.

a little bit of a good example for something.

webmaster doing something fucked up.
we ban them.
they put of a different sponsor right after.
nobody seems to go to the boards calling out the new sponsor.

thanks again Ma for pointing it out to us, and it was nice to hang out with you in florida and talk adult internet ethics
