Would you sell one of your limbs to be financially set for life?
 

Simple question. Would you sell one of your limbs, an arm or a leg, to be financially set for life? The limb would be surgically removed at the base (hip or shoulder). You would then be financially set for life, not a billionaire, but a wealthy multi-millionaire who could live very comfortably the rest of your life off the interest generated by your wealth.

Would you do it? If so, which limb?

Not necessarily a 'limb'... I knew some people who sells blood and kidneys for financial reasons. But there's no way ever that I would do such even if I can't make much money with both hands and legs. At least, I'm 'complete'... :)

heh depends on what. but i doubt it. i always said if i ever get in an addicent where i lose my arm(s) or leg(s) i want to die.

money is not everything - I would rather be poor and happy/content than rich and lonely - not being able to trust anyone who says they are your friend

very true - I prefer to put value in myself - family and friends - then again - most of the 90% you mention are likley under 21 here and won't appreciate that comment until they hit 40

Teoreticly,if you received 1 billion and get infested with AIDS,you can invest for founding the cure.Also AIDS is curable so there will no be that big risk

But will you need it if you will have problems with health? I doubt.
THough i can imagine that there are people who likes money more than themselves.
Or some situation in whitch a person will need lots of money to help some relative.

I doubt it. I kinda like my limbs where they are.. Im sure there are ALLOT of people that would.. plus with todays technology you can get prostetics etc.. interesting question tho... makes you wonder heh..

the point is in separate with something that you really need, that you really can't be without - such cost for wealthness for all your life.

making money is like climbing a mountain, it's the climb that's fun... getting millions for cutting off your limb, would be equivalent to getting dropped off by a helicopter on a mountain top, it would be a good experience but no where near as rewarding as climbing the mountain yourself..
