He isn't going to be picked for the next England friendly and looking like he might not be called up again. That is one way to prove you aren't Sven.

Aaron Lennon was much better than him at the world cup, I think a lot of people will want to see him playing better if he wants back in.

It should be player skill, not names that decide the teams. Sven got caught up in that.

I'm sure he'll feature again in England colours at some point. Just not as the captain though...

I think he is or has been injured, so thats why he isnt in the friendly. I can still see him playing some part in England's team but maybe as a sub.

hes still a good player in my opinion, still one of the best in the world. hes kept real madrid up

lennons a better footballer anyway. and its alot more entertaining watching lennon take players on and beat them rather than 1 trick pony beckhams constant long balls.
