Win XP network question - in here please [?]

So on a w2k box you just see to that all boxes are included in the same workgroup - ex "network". How does this work on XP though? I have it configured in the same way but the sucker cant see the other comps?

I thank you in advance kind sirs! :thumbsup

did you go through the "View entire network" etc.. & your station name is there.. like if you go to Computers Near me also?

Did you try pinging as well.

Yeah thats the problem... I did all that. And I may f.ex use the internal IPs for remote desktop/t services... its all a bit weird.

All I had to do to get mine going was:
Make sure they belong to the same workgroup
Make sure the computers have unique names
Make sure you share at least 1 folder on each of the computers
Make sure the firewall is off

There is a wizard for networking if all else fails.
