I feel so bad!

Today my cat had a surgery. They made him castration.
He is so ill, he is sick, he can't pee, but i can see that he wants. He can't walk - he fells down. I can see his tears on the eyes.
I feel like shit, if i had an oppotunity to turn back time, i'd never do it again.:(

i know that castrated cats behaive themselves better than not castrated. Do not pee in the house , do not cry all night ling. Is it true?
Is there any possibility that the cat will be normal without surery?

gooddomains 08-10-2006 12:02 PM

if you want to have your tomcat not pee all over the place then kastration is the only way to go

gooddomains 08-10-2006 12:03 PM

I've had like 20 cats in the last 30 years and there are not too many options

Magix 08-10-2006 12:08 PM

this is fucked up, never do castration to your cat !!! this is the same as to kill him or her.....you just fucked up his whole meaning of his life :(

castration? just get two bricks and clap them together between his legs. BAM. all done.

HpicAnn 08-10-2006 12:48 PM

Is he gonna be ok right?

Bro Media - BANNED FOR LIFE 08-10-2006 12:52 PM

i casturated my cat and the next day, he was worse then he was before we casturated him... fuckers wild as shit

godisdead 08-10-2006 12:53 PM

Ouch! That must suck for the poor animal. I mean, being castrated is not an easy thing to experience. I guess it will arrange with it at some time. I didn't know that they react this way to castration. But it makes sense that they do react badly in some way.

I had my cat castrated before and he grew bigger than ever. Of course, he can still be normal except that he's bereft of his desires to have sex. Don't worry about it! Everything will be fine for him. I did that to avoid 'incest' (if you know what I mean) :)

Gary_TLX 08-10-2006 01:02 PM

It must be a pretty bad feeling for you, but don't worry, I'm sure he'll be fine in a few days.

THank you. Incest is bad :)
I do not mind if he becomes big and fat. THough i'll have to pay much money for his transportation in the airplane.:winkwink:

I wonder if they can give a cat a vasectomy instead of lopping off the yam bags. This way the ol'Tom Cat can still get his grove on.

PS. Sorry to hear about your puss being in ruff shape

E$_manager 08-10-2006 02:42 PM

May be they can make vasectomy, but they don't think any cat needs it.
Besides, they also do it because of the venereal deseases they can get when dealing with women cats :)

E$_manager 08-10-2006 02:47 PM

Cats also have AIDs and syphilis and leucaemia.

I feel sorry for that, man. Did the vet give any medication after that surgery?

madawgz 08-10-2006 07:55 PM

if your cats in serious pain, maybe put it to sleep? :(

Spunky 08-10-2006 07:57 PM

It's normal for the cat to be like that for a day or two..It's best in the long run
