where to register domains?
I would to register a domain & use e-mail with the domain also.
Networksolutions wants $30 for domain $30 for the e-mail. Well fuck that, I first registered with them, but they are a rip. Whats a good company to use? |
I like directnic.com personally

14.95 for the domain, 9.99 for the pop3 email if you need the registrar to set it up and manage it, or use your host who should do it free. |
POP3 is useless without SMTP. lol :Graucho
|
nearly every access isp (dialup, dsl, etc) serves your SMTP. no need for your web host to, except for incoming e-mail.

i use 000domains, I thought about using directnic but since all my domains are on there just continued using them, good simple service.

NetworkSolutions and Register.com ROCK!! :Graucho
|
http://www.powerpipe.com cheap, fast, easy to use and good tech support.
I've used registerclub.com before and they're not bad... godaddy became a pain in the butt - they stopped accepting my CC (even though everyone else is ok with it) |
I just finished registering a domain at godaddy.com, it was quick, simple & painless.
It cost $9....but they don't have free re-direction like directnic |
thanks for all the replies.
