|

They had to escort Lawrence Connor off the boat.

they wanted to find scumbags doing lines of coke....instead they found people that looked like their brother/sister from the suburbs, enjoying a cocktail

baaah big deal people
Right now the reason is unknown. Apparently this has never happened in the boat owner's 12 years in the business, nor the Captain's even longer tenure on the water.
http://www.2much.net/internext/pictu...s/DSCN0411.JPG The trip was scheduled for three hours, the half-way point being 1 hour 30 minutes before we turned around. We left ten minutes late. The coast guard showed up about an hour later, but didn't board or turn us around for another 20 minutes. http://www.fubarwebmasters.com/curre.../14/z18533.jpg If they did target pornographers, they did it in such a way that it spoiled nobody's fun - not the charter, boat owner or business people who, via a huge money-generating show like Internext, help boost the local economy via excursions like the 2much Yacht Cruise and off-site parties such as those hosted at Nocturnal, Giorgio's Grill and the Solid Gold VIP Club. http://www.2much.net/internext/pictu...s/DSCN0363.JPG My bet, beyond a randomly selected check procedure based on nothing but rotten luck, is that, if there was some alarmed cry from a concerned citizen, the coast guard managed to respond to it in such a way that said concerned citizens couldn't say nothing was done, and neither could the attendees and foreign visitors to sunny Hurricane-ravaged Florida leave with a bad impression of the forces of order or the experience as a whole. http://www.fubarwebmasters.com/curre.../14/z18551.jpg Nonetheless enquiries are being made and further posts or press releases will be made when confirmed info is available. Until then, it was a pleasant, silly diversion during an already event filled show and party. |
Apparently I heard we were a threat to Homeland Security :1orglaugh
Guess they wanted to catch some porn chicks in action, have some free drinks, or save a manatee...who knows, the party was fun with or without them! :thumbsup |
you know - maybe it was because of this:
http://www.2much.net/internext/pictu...s/DSCN0347.JPG turning to this (shitty ass plastified paper banner grr): http://www.fubarwebmasters.com/curre.../14/z18482.jpg Maybe it was seen flapping in the wind and shocked the locals for the high risk factor... well, anyway, no one was drying their boobs in the wind that I know of... |
It was a great time. Thanks for having us.

Mitch - thanks for being there and having a good time - that's all we wanted to achieve. :)
Coast Guard Conspiracy Theorists: Think she was in on it? http://www.2much.net/internext/pictu...s/DSCN0392.JPG |
SheDevil and I were on board - and the 2much crew did a kick ass job to make everyone feel comfortable. For whatever reason the coast guard never bothered us as we were about to turn around shortly after they boarded anyways. It was a highlight of the trip - but I do think that having a camera crew on board with so many other digital cams (not too mention a few high profile lawyers) did hinder whatever the coast guard had in mind.

I honestly think it was just having a lot of people, music, booze, etc. on such a big boat ... oh, and a few eye-catching banners.
My bet is they at first just wanted to make sure the boat was licenced and no "shenanigans" were going on. After we arrived back in the marina a few more watercoppers boarded and went to the captain's deck. What happened next I have no idea. |

looks like a blast!

Speaking as a local Miami boater, I can tell you that the Coast Guard pulls boats over all day long for safety checks..... perhaps with the banner hanging down and about to be litter in the water (which is illegal), they decided to see if there were any other violations going on.
You guys need to stop being so paranoid. I've dealt with the Coast Guard many times and they are cool guys, very professional, just doing their jobs. . |

UPDATE!
I recently had a chat with a friend of the owner of the boat, who is a friend of a friend of the coast guard. Apperently, it was a tip off. Someone some decided that the people on the boat looked suspecious because everyone in line came from across the street at a "Known Pervert Convesion" and that drugs were "probably going to be found". This makes alot of sense. The attitude of the coast guard was extremely casual. They were very polite and and just seemed to be "doing the rounds" and not really expecting to find anything bad going on whatsoever. My bet, the TIP came from some hollier-than-thou dork who wouldn't know good sex if it fucked him in the ass. Mark Prince http://www.2Much.net http://www.LiveCamNetwork.com |

Yea Cost Guard will do a check on any boats that they feel are suspicious. Same thing a cop would do.
I have a uncle who is into treasure hunting and he's in on some pretty big stuff. I was on board his boat when we were coming back from the Bahamas and we were boarded by the Cost Guard, because the boat was sitting low in the water because of what we had on board. They will pretty much check out any boats that perk their interest and I'm sure a big banner like that would perk their interest. After all it's their job to do so. |
