We here at ANYwebcam.com have always known we are part of something special, working within an exciting medium, alongside a group of great people, in a relaxed creative environment. All of us manage to juggle work with play and all of us seem to be leading well balanced lives - I guess we have always put this down to just being "good folk" but apparently there is more to it, apparently we are COOL!

On the 7th August 2006 ANYwebcam.com was recognized as being somewhere in the top 20 Cool Companies in Australia (exact position was not released), ok... I am pretty sure we were not chosen because we have "awesome" server load balancing skills, or because of our "gnarly" knowledge of file compression techniques, maybe it has something to do with our "rad" urban office space... so what is their so called definition of cool?

It seems we have been acknowledged for our success by way of understanding our marketplace, being able to accept our mistakes and praise our accomplishments, something that we have always held as a high priority. Never do we at ANYwebcam.com place ourselves at guru level nor are we too headstrong not to act on constructive criticisim. Recognition from the business world at any level gives you a sense of pride, and it is great to see that all the hard work and creative thinking that our team provides day in and day out is getting people talking. ANYwebcam.com recognized the potential of using webcams to communicate in a social networking environment early on and has been able to develop proprietary technology that is leading the industry. ANYwebcam.com webcam technology has been developed to promote many-to-many interaction allowing a single user to watch up to 15 live webcams at once and broadcast a live stream to over 15,000 viewers, this model has been made possible by a proprietary hub and spoke structure where all activity passes through our servers prior to delivery. Darren was a huge part of introducing ANYwebcam to the webmaster community, for us it is a simple (.. and yes very cheesy) way of acknowledging the assistance Darren had with our program on launch. He personally introduced me to many webmasters, allowing me to shake their hands and buy them a beer and I thank him for that.

I have nothing against you guys (expect for hiring kfizzle, what were you thinking?) or D Money. I've met him once and he was very nice. I just find it very cheesy. :winkwink:

sweet... it used to be a whole lot cheesier, very much like bugs bunny coming out of the loony toons rings... I'll see if I can dig it up, no doubt youd love it. Being based in australia we needed to have a familiar face for the local US webmaters to recognize. D$ was the perfact man for the job, flew the flag well.
