Octopus are very cool and a lot of fun to watch. They are notorious escape artists and and will crawl out of anything that is not properly secured. An octopus is very soft and the only thing hard on it is it's beak which it uses to crush shells to eat. It's the size of it's beak that determines how big a space it needs to escape. The rest of it's body it can flatten or contort to get through the hole. Rats are the same as only the size of there skull detemines the size of the hole they can get through.

Octopus are extremely smart and in the right enclosure would make a fascinating and entertaining pet. Research more about them as there is lots to know before having one.

It's not easy, but it's not impossible either.

I think piranha live in fresh water whereas octopus in salt water. But I get your idea :upsidedow

Octopi are so sexy, that?s why. Look how sensual those tentacles are, how they wrap around everything with such finesse. Man, I just totally got off thinking about an octopus not five minutes ago.
