Xbiz Summer Forum I think took a good share of SUMMER "Show" % AWAY FROM AVN......
 

I really wasnt gonna go to internext tbh , but said what the hell....

Attendance was not high usually they sell like 1200 or so passes this year it was more like 600 or so.....these figures are estimates....

Show floor was dead again....

For $300/pass you could have at least given me a hooker for 10 min.

(BTW i didnt pay for the pass , thank you WTS /ACHDebit)

so so far 2 for 2 this year both internexts blew major ass....

Xbiz show was more well organized , i didnt feel like a prisoner who was asked for a god damn pass every 5 min by the same $6/hr fucking asshat....


So a bunch of us decided why waste the time energy and money on any Internext from this point on.... We are rather going to organize a vacation to a tropical paradise.....

ya the show did seem dead, also not as many sponsors had booth on the show floor, the Cabanas was a nice idea but for $300.00 a pass i would of expected more. Glad our passes were free (thanks WTS) or else I would of been pissed for paying that much

What he said, both internext's sucked major ass. We spent alot of money on a cabana only to have the damn hotel opened up to the public on sunday morning. I come down to go get breakfast, and i see little kids running around the lobby and out by the pool. We couldnt and didnt get any business done on sunday at all. They forced us to book our rooms till monday to get the suites we wanted only to find out they opened the damn place to the public on sunday morning. I have to say i agree 100% with Juicy, were done with the AVN shows.

AVN get a clue people arent going to your shows anymore, $300 passes, $5250 for a cabana, and the crazy prices on everything else is really turning off sponsors and webmasters. I think i spoke to less than 10 smaller webmasters who were at the show. We spent alot of money down there and with the shitty turnout im sure we wont recoup any of it.

Im done with my rants, from now on Phoenix forum, Xbiz and the Webmaster East will be the shows we will spend money at.

Also the fact that i saw families early sunday morning as i was trying to chill i didnt like..... and I am sure the families that booked there vancations werent too happy either.

Sorry but what exactly did the $5 an hour monkey do wrong? Is it his fault that he is doing what he is ordered to do? Is it his fault that he wants to keep out people NOT attending the show?

I saw those and bitched till they removed them. 20.00 a day and I didnt drive rofl. But overall I didnt have a problem with the hotel or the service. The 300.00 is way too much. Phoenix forums cost nothing if you registred early enough, and I only bought 1 drink that entire show, and I think I bought that for Lindsey as a joke. I bought a 18.00 redbull and vodka at this show. lol I dont know what kind of redbull they put in it, but must of been good stuff. The Fris vodka was topshelf haha.

Your estimations are a little off. Internext had well over 1000 people in as of Thursday night. I know a lot of people that didn't arrive until Friday or Satruday as well.

As for the badge monkeys, it's the price of taking over the whole hotel. Either you want no badge monkeys and people walking in off the street to take pictures of the content and hang out at the parties or you want only people in the industry on the premises. I prefer the latter.

I think the westin is one of the best places for shows. I've been at many shows where security is a problem. No boobs, No alcohol, etc, etc.


I wish there were more smaller webmasters, but with having to pay so much for everything a lot of them can't afford to go.

They tried to slip the "valet parking" in on us as well but we caught it. I don't know about this one though Juicy. At least the pool at Internext was bearable, Vegas in July...way too hot. I never had any people hassling me in Vegas, true. But that's because I was inside with the AC the whole time. Juicy didnt you also say Miami Vice sucked and you walked out early. You should have stayed the ending made the movie. I got to Florida for the beach and to show the flag anyway, just my :2 cents:

Honest question here MJ...how much is the pass for January Show? AVN does not take over the entire Venetian (soon to be Mandalay Bay) and I know it wasnt Free to attend.

All shows were more fun when money used to flow like water in the online adult biz.... period.

well that's too bad Gerard, perhaps you could have done a shitload of business. In the past, people have complained about a lot of riffraff at the show. I feel the people who were there wanted to do business and business was GREAT:thumbsup
