The only Epassporte complaint I have

I think it's an awesome service, especially since they don't ban adult accounts, they encourage it it seems. Obviously there are some problems and glitches with a few accounts and a few idiots that freak out if their $20 account gets closed cause they got some funds from fraud accounts.

My only complaint is they charge $35 for the ATM debit card each year, and the card looks fake enough that when I hand it to a retailer they immediately tell me it's fake cause the #'s aren't raised.

For $35 you think they can get real looking credit cards!!

oh, and I Still haven't found a way to get their "virtual visa" deal to work on sites, it always gets rejected, it's just confusing.

Any complaints other than mine is all bullshit and you can GFY, it's a good service!

there is something a really hate with my eppas account too

the account balance is too low:(

killerkay 08-09-2006 10:17 AM

also phone support could be better

DirtyJ_ExtendedMarketing 08-09-2006 10:19 AM

I dont like their support.. I tried for weeks to get something resolved with no luck.. but then I came to gfy and keyser fixed my problem within 2 days.. so for now on, if i have an issue.. im not even emailing them.. Im just contacting him right away.

I'm bothered by the horrible interface and lack of account options. I can't view a detailed history of my transactions or do anything. I sometimes have to look back on payments and such and it's just silly not to have that part of your system.

I guess it wouldn't bother me if it was a small company. But they spend hundreds of thousands in advertising and promoting their service. It would be nice if some of the money went into building a nice backend.

They do? Sure as hell haven't seen much advertising from them, aside from the occasional $1000 contest...

All debit cards have non embossed numbers. Only CREDIT cards have embossed numbers.

The thing that I really hate is that it doesn't store more than x amount of transaction details. I want to be able to see ALL my transactions not just the last 20.

:2 cents:

it's different here in the US, other than Epassporte, the only cards that are non embossed are store specific gift cards.

ok I didn't know that, here only CC's are embossed :thumbsup

My understand is that the reason the numbers isn't raised is because ithahaha8217;s for electron use only and with the numbers not being raised it can only be used for electronic transfers.
The quality of the old grey card wasn't too good and the numbers rubbed of quickly the new version with the holographic image is a lot better, I will forward your concerns about the card.

The virtual card are declined at some merchants for different reason for example, they don't process the charge as online transaction, card holder and issuing bank are in different countries, its a debit/virtual card and so on.

I personally use mine regularly if you never have been able to use the card successfully let me know and we can check that everything is OK with your card.

I understand your frustration with not being able to see past transactions but currently it is not technical possible to show them in your account, it is something that is being worked on.
If you are looking for a specific transfer you can log into your account -> Click transfer funds -> Search for transfers that have previously been made.

If you need the statement for a specific period please contact me with your account name and the period you want the statement for and we will email it to you.

I agree...

As far as the ATM card goes, I don't have one but if that's the case that is just pitiful. 35 bucks for that is insane!

Paypals card is FREE...looks and works like any other bank card. I've never had a problem using it anywhere!

If Paypal can do it right, Epass should be able to do it too.
That's just poor customer service.

This is my only complaint:
Why does it take only 30 seconds to withdraw money from my bank card and put into Epass but 3 days to withdraw money from Epass and put back into that same bank acct?

You got my offer on the table.....I hope they bite and we can get this to work.
I'm sure I can do it and I'll be glad to prove it.

The thing is people pay for my services each month....without transaction
history it's impossible for me to track who paid and who didn't unless I check
every day and write it all down.

Actually if I will build it I'll make it that users can view historical transaction
and also download it to import into whatever accounting software they use :winkwink:

Dagwolf 08-09-2006 12:12 PM

Merchants look at my card strangely, but it's never been declined.

Michael O 08-09-2006 12:18 PM

Thanks for the comments keep'em comming I am reading everyone and forwarding the suggestions.

Different companies have different fee structures, it costs $.25 to send money thru ePassporte and $0 to receive money. Its been a while since I used Paypal but I beleive I used to pay for receiving money.
