I got the sudden motivation to paint one of the bedrooms, so last night I moved everything out and made a huge mess. Went to Lowes this morning and got some paint and this evening went to work. Seeing the old paint and the new side by side shows that no matter how much you wash (I have a little thing that I use to wash the walls about 3 times a year) you still never get it all. Also funny how after you are done and you turn on the same lamp with the same bulb that was in the room before that you were thinking about getting rid of as being inadequete, and the thing lights the whole fucking room up so much it hurts your eyes.

Do you smoke ? If so it makes the matter about 100x worse.

Nope, I dont. But I know what you mean. My parents did. We painted thier house a few years ago and good god, the difference was like night and fucking day.
