looks like the PPC SE Kanoodle just purchased the popular domain registrar Moniker.com

i have a bunch of domains on moniker because of the support, the minute support sucks or they put an automatic phone support system up, I am moving it all away.

no idea, probably yes, I simply saw a link to an article about it on a domain forum that i rarely visit but the news was very fresh

the thread about it was already 3 pages, didn't read it all

they where not bought - they partnered with kanoodle and pulse360

everyone is staying in place - no buyout here

Kanoodle will find a way to screw them up.

Moniker will stay the same. Monte and Eric run the company as always and the rest of the staff stays the same. We will still be on the forums, at the trade shows, and any other place where we can interact with our great customers. Case and point - we had 4 people at Internext for the entire show.

We look forward to having access to some additional resources within Seevast that will help us accelerate some really cool services to market.

don't worry, we are not going anywhere. This was actually a merger of equals and the whole reason to form a holding company and to operate independently was to keep doing what we do best - support, security, domain sales, escrow, domain traffic monetization, etc. We will actually be taking over DomainHop from Kanoodle and helping the new parent offer kick ass products and services to our customers.

Both Eric and I are more motivated than ever to keep the ship moving forward and will be here and at the shows. This coming together of the companies actually happened almost a year ago...just let the news out now when we created the holding company.

i honestly hope nothing will change at Moniker, because my personal experience and many of my friends with Kanoodle has been nothing more than dissapointing.
