Drink Driving
 

On my way home from volleyball last night I got pulled over for a random breath test. I'd just finished a beer and jumped in the car, wasnt five minutes since the amber fluid had passed my lips.

I was pretty confident I wouldnt be going over the 05 limit so breathed into the little machine.

The officer showed it to me as it did it's analasys

I thought i was fuct and started telling the officer how I honestly only had the one beer. He asked me some questions about what I had to drink, how long ago it was, making me sweat a little.

Then he took his fucking thumb off the other zero
I was only .015

By Law they arent allowed to test you if you have just had a drink within the last 10 minutes, if that is the case they are suppose to give you 20 minutes before they can get an accurate reading because there is too much in the breath or what not, i forget the full explanation

I'm in AU so the laws are a little different.

After rational thought returned I realised even if that number had been the actual reading I would have had the option of another reading on a more accurate reader or a blood test.

Yeah the laws in Australia are different - you are legally allowed <b>fifteen</b> minutes before a test.

There's a good lesson in this: Don't drink and drive; Get stoned and drive!

According to a Romanian buddy of mine, the public drinking laws in Romania are very lenient. As long as you don't fall down on the floor drunk, the cops can't touch you. [note--this does not apply to drunk driving]

LA is the home of freeway chases.its at least one a week...the thought has personally crossed my mind to do soemthing so stupid and be on TV...maybe i would carry a sign with my websites on em..my MOM would be so proud

In AU always take the blood test if your over... you have nothing to lose, and a good chance to get off, as those readers aren't all that accurate
