You've got good SERP with your keywords/phrases do you mess with it to make it better or leave it the fuck alone so you don't fuck up a good thing. We're talking 1000s of hits from google.

I have planed major additions, but fear I'll screw up a good thing. What would you do? I've fucked up before or google helped with changes in their algo.

It can take months to get it back!!!

I'm leaning towards the wuss side or change gradually. I'm not talking just a new banner or different sponsors.

It's tempting to tweak, I overtweaked some pages last year and they dropped, reverted back to the original code and finally in a few months got the positions back. It's a risk.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Tweak the successful technique on another niche/site. Trust me on this one.

Get another domain, replicate & fuck with it there...Always keep a few throw aways for this purpose...

If you know what you are doing, you probably won't fuck it up... sure it may go up a notch or down a few, but it's not like you will take it from page 1 to page 10 by tweaking things a little...

actually you can, but mostly with your outgoing link selection.

I wouldn't touch it until the SERP becomes less favourable. It usually takes ages and a nothing short of a miracle to get a top spot, don't be a hero and try to make it better ;)

I lost some nice revenue and money by trying to move up a few spaces. Now I can't make it back up to the top in the serps. Should have just left it alone!
