I just installed that again after a few years. God the TIME I wasted on that shit...

Holy shit yea. That was the first online game I ever got into, and was still playing it long after quake 2, half life and team fortress classic got released. Best game ever. I eventually got into quake 3 fortress, wich was a good remake. Check out fortress-forever.com for the next remake..

Did you hear, Vavle is releasing Team Fortress 2 with their upcoming half-life 2 episode 2? Check out the trailer... looks kinda wierd. They took it a very cartoony route.

I don't like playing FPS games anymore, for some reason they don't have the feel of the Quake series.

Is it similar to Unreal Tournament? That's my favorite PC first person shooter of all time.

Battlefield 2 is great, play it online every day. Must have shot down, knifed, sniped, & minigunned about 4000 of the best the USA has to offer. :thumbsup

If you've still got your Half Life key you should REALLY download the Steam client. It comes with TFC and about 8 other shooters, once of which is a VERY cool WW2 one.

Me and a couple of my friends used to do a game night once a week or so.. a buddy of mine (a fellow AEBN guy) has a room set up in his house with about 4 or 5 high end gaming machines in his computer room (yea we are geeks), and we all go over there and kill people online all night. Havnt done it for a while, but we will probably start going again soon..

Anyone game for jumping on with us? :) We can play anythign really, unreal, half-life, CS whatever..

We used to get soem GFY Counter-Strike games going every once in a while. been a long time though.

I'm up for TFC. Like 2fort map or something. I can probably even arrange a private server.

I played this one this morning that takes place on a soccer field. There was an actual ball in play but mainly 30 guys shooting each other. lol

Oh yeah I loved this mod. IIRC someone's making a remake for HL2.

Spazball was still the best.. you guys ever play that map:) so fun!

heh I haven't played TF for a long time. Got back into CS just a little bit a week or so ago but def not like I was 2 years ago.

Jesus I used to play a lot of TF (Quakeworld TF, the original). I actually missed a couple of days of work so I could stay home and play. I'm gonna reinstall that tonight and see if I can find a server or two.
