Stattraq for Wordpress almost gave me a heart attack...
 

I run www.rhinosgirls.com a teen blog with a decent amount of traffic that has been growing quite nicely over the last 8 months... I don't make much in proportion to my income from my other ventures but this site is kind of my baby...

Stattraq recently went haywire and said I went from 5,000 uniques to 1,318 in one day... I scrabled to see what the fuck is going on... I was kinda like OHH SHIT!

Then the next day it is 283... WTF? Today it is 9!

In reality my traffic is actually growing.. After I setup 3 other counters I am now figuring that Stattraq is a piece of shit....

Wow I am sure you thought things were going crazy when you checked your stats. I have no clue but hope you figure it out, so heres a bump.

server stats are the only ones to trust

I like sitemeter.

i usually use clickzs tracking it tracks everything. or i just use server logs
