um... there's a little more involved than that. not only must you click your mouse, you must put up a blog that may - or may not - sell to your blog's current bookmarkers on your site. the blog may - or may not - have text you allow. and if it doesn't sell, you don't make any money. the money isn't for putting up the blog, after all - it's only for actual sales.

and blogs that revolve around a particular writing style could even alienate some bookmarkers.

sounds like a big nothing to me. after all, if a blogger make an average of 5 sales when each blog is new and than another 20 sales on each blog over a period of time, they stand to lose 25 sales... and not make $250, either ;)

Surfers don't really care about writing styles so long as it doesn't sound worthless and impossible to read. If they are coming to look at naked women, chances are the writing doesn't matter that much.

surfers bookmark a true blog for a number of reasons, and writing is one of the top reasons. If you run a blog with all pictures, it isn't a blog, so, i think your main target here is more babeblogs and not actual blogs

Interesting replies, and a lot of signups. There will always be the negative ones. What I have learned is those are the ones without a single hit to send. :1orglaugh

Babelogs or picturelogs are one thing. I am more targetting the 1000-5000 hit per day bloggers who can bring in the clicks and get a nice daily signup ratio. I am not trying to get a stileproject or superficial with this. Those guys rely on their writing styles to sell. Without a true persona behind the text they won't sell anything.

I wrote some entries for my blogs, and then 25% of them where written by someone with English as a second language with content packed with keywords. CTR was identical with both writing styles. So that's where my opinion came from.

the blogs I do have that I write on are way different than that though, my readers like my candid views and slightly negative way of writing, they aren't there because of the "sale", they are there because of my views on whatever I am writing about. I often will post nasty looking girls just to rip them apart from head to toe....and if someone else came along and wrote something on the same page that had my familiar writing styles I just don't think it would sell as well, I have taken pre-written text from sponsors and it just doesn't do as well as my style.

but you are right though, 99% of the time this is not the case, most people reading porn blogs couldn't tell between Jethro from Alabama writing the blog and the normal writer
