What do resellers think about Sponsor Emails...

I am not sure if I want to start sending out emails to my resellers when I put up new galleries, new banners, new sites etc etc... SO

I know they keep the sponsor's program in the resellers mind, but are they more of a annoyance than a help? Do you (resellers) just delete them or have them filter as spam?

Thanks for any comments on this...

Always have the option to opt out of the emails, but it's been stated many times on the board that affiliates appreciate correspondance that will make them more money (new promo materials and tools, best selling tours, tips, etc).

The perferred amount of emails per month is the varied part. Every week, twice a month or monthly.... everyone has their preference.

It is a good idea to be in touch with affiliates and lettin them know whats happening with the program etc. People who don't like to get emails from sponsors can always unsubscribe.

In fact it will be better if during the affiliate sign process there is a check box which asks if the affiliate wants to get periodic newsletters from the sponsor.
