My Controversial Views On Girls Gone Wild

Now I know that a lot of you might disagree with me, but I really feel like the girls gone wild commercials are a little to graphic for the general viewing public.

Seriously....
We've got women with small graphics just covering their jiggling boobs and women obviously taking their clothes off in commercials. Not to mention all that girl on girl action that goes on.

It's 2006, and yes I think that this commercial is showing too much. I know the makers of GGW have a product that they are trying to sell, but I really think they could tone down their commercials.

xLaborJames 08-06-2006 08:56 PM

I just get sick of how they are on every channel playing the same fucking commerical every night.

notabook 08-06-2006 08:59 PM

I actually agree which is scary because I am a communist. I've seen their ads during the day and they only give like a 5 second warning. WARNING THIS VIDEO SHOULD NOT BE VIEWED BY KIDS ROFL THIS IS TOTALLY ENOUGH TIME TO CHANGE THE CHANNEL I SWEAR TO GOD. They need to really make sure the ads only play after midnight.

r-c-e 08-06-2006 09:02 PM

We don't get them here, I might have to go track them down on youtube. :)

Anyone got a link handy?

Xplicit 08-06-2006 09:05 PM

Yanno, I think I agree with you too.

As a 25 year old without kids, its easy to say 'fuck it'.

But thinking ahead, I dont think i'd want my daughter seeing that and thinking thats what older girls do.

BusterBunny 08-06-2006 09:06 PM

blame the tv station it is their call to let it on the air.....i've never seen them at any hours that children should be up and watching tv.....not to mention they advertise on cable channels like comedy central and spike tv neither are really worthy for children to be watching in the first place...........

Sorry, but I have to plays devil's advocate here.

The commercials for GGW are on late at night and typically during shows that are showing pretty racey material anyway. As a parent you could always see the commecial and if, for some reason your young impressionable daughter is still up at 1am, you could turn the channel and tell her you don't think that is how girls should act or whatever you want.

If we are going to start limiting what is on the air because it may make a poor impression on a kid you would have to remove half the shows on TV.

"Girls Gone Wild" should be called "Strippers on Vacation"

no one forces any family to own a tv or subscribe to cable. the last thing we need is more government cencorship or restrictions. our rights are already getting pissed away one law at a time... parents need to step up and take responsiblity.. talk like this just gets the goverment pumped up...

I'm really surprised to see the responses here. You guys work in the porn industry for crying out loud. Did you forget that any kid can look at porn on the internet from his computer without much stopping him? So in other words you are saying there should be MORE censorship in America?

And yes, it is the year 2006 and I am sad to see that people still haven't accepted the human body as a part of nature, something that should not be taboo... Maybe we should revert back to Victorian ages when it was too much to show a women's ankle =D

I'm actually quite surprised how much the networks let them get away with.

I can see why the DVD's sell like hotcakes.

SmokeyTheBear 08-07-2006 01:36 AM

not really very controverial really . i think everyone hates the infomercials , and we all wish we could be doing it at the same time.. BUT we are all glad we didnt get raped in the ass with a dildo on videotape like the guy who owns girls gone wild did.

i seen pussy in the daytime on TV here

Elli 08-07-2006 06:55 AM

Hmm let's see.. watch the Baby Blue movies on Global, or watch censored GGW infomercials? Or wait, there's way more nudity on Bravo and Showcase at that time of night. And more swearing on Comedy.

Drawn Together is so sweet.

Usually these commercials are on late night and on the E channel.

webseth 08-07-2006 07:26 AM

this is one of the many problems with american censorship: violence and profanity OK , nudity -- NOT ok.

relax, some jiggly boobs and girl on girl has never hurt anyone.

i think this late night commercial is far more damaging
