not knowing the 2007 route and entrance fee i think its hard to say go or not go. the entrance fee in 2006 was $75k (40k british pound) because of 2 air transportations of the cars from europe to asia and from asia to the states.
and the 2007 route isnt even fixed yet.
you may keep that in mind when taking your decision.

yeah and thats aside from personal expenses like food, police fees, tickets, transportation to the starting point and back home from the finish line.
just for the entry and just for the fun, so no way to "win" your money back or something.
