What can I do?

GFY is always full of good advice so here goes.....

I have had my phone # changed back in January of 06, well the lady who had it before owes everyone in town $$ and they keep calling and calling:( I have told them more than a few times she doesn't have this # any more. Well the calls had died down a bit 2-4 a week but now they are calling and calling again.:( How can I get them to stop?

:disgust

Tuga 08-05-2006 08:10 AM

It's my home phone and changing the # is what got me into this. The phone company can't do anything they said.

:(

change your cell phone carrier.

although it might cost you for cancelling your plan early.

TurboAngel 08-05-2006 08:21 AM

It's my home # not my cell, am I the only one left that has both?

:(

Daruma 08-05-2006 08:21 AM

your sol unless you change the #

Next time they phone tell them again that this is your new number not her old one.
and that you have had the calls traced and the police are waiting for you to tell them when to make an arrest for harassment, and if they don't stop you will make the call
It may help, and hopefully she doesn't owe the cash for drugs

Best thing to do in a situation like this, is take more cleavage photos and post them here. It makes everyone happy

America is sounding more fucked up as the days go on - mobile providers over there actually reuse numbers? Over here they are simply decomissioned...

Lykos 08-05-2006 06:15 PM

well change the number, dont know what else, lol

KrisKross 08-05-2006 06:18 PM

You can subscribe to your telco's number blocking feature and block each caller individually or you can change your phone number yet again. Those are your only two options.

E$_manager 08-05-2006 08:44 PM

you can put her in the blacklist if you have one in your phone.

Nah, I have both. I'm worried about being without a landline in case we really are in the Matrix.

Anyhow, get some ear splittingly loud device and activate it in to the headset next time they call.

Credit collection company..... :upsidedow

Tell them to put you on their DO NOT CALL LIST this is a WRONG NUMBER! Talk to their supervisors 'coz sometimes agents are gonna piss you calling your number over and over again. :(

This won't help, there's a lot of company doing credit collecton with hundred of agents even if the first one who called you put your number on a wrong number chances are other agents using other program might dialled your number again.:(
