Tales of offshore banking, need advises

I just got declined in Singapore because they're affraid of money laundering and me being a drug smuggler or w/e. Made the trip there just to be declined, real fun. Now waiting to hear back from my accounting firm and looking if they can make an introduction for me - maybe that would do.

Anyone here has experience with this kind of stuff? I'm in need of a good bank that is friendly to non-resident that can open a personal bank account and offer good investments channels.

When the account gets hit with a lot of money, the bank will ask me where the money comes from, and the bank has to be comfortable with the source coming from online ventures (adult related for the most part).

I don't care where the bank is, I will travel to open the bank account or can do with appostille via mail. The bank must not be in Canada or USA.

Please share any experience you've had :)

I have the same question/demands.

Bank in offshore jurisdiction with no double taxation treaties being comfortable with "advertising in adult part of online biz" and having a good set of services available (good online banking) and good support (preferably a big bank, well connected with the rest of the world).

Can you recommend any?

You should check "The Offshore Money Book" by Arnold Cornez.

Probably one of the best books on the subject, you should also get a good tax lawyer to help you, moving offshore is more complex than just openning a bank account in Bermudas.

Moving offshore is a breeze if you work as an advertiser and not as a producer. Our local tax laws are clear on the subject and it's nothing suprising and nothing that "couldn't work". I've consulted with several tax lawyers. What I need now is just a stable bank with a good support in an offshore jusrisdiction which understands that adult is no boo-boo, especially when you are just an advertiser and not a producer.
