Bunch of us Canadians came in today (thursday) around noon-thirty - 2much, topbucks, gammacash, rabbit, etc.... - and the place was already pretty much packed (say by 2:30 when we hit the pool) - no booths no cabanas, just people and schmoozing - goes to putting my ambition to getting a big-ass booth together in the near future into doubt...

As to who's here that i've seen or met - you want a list - right now i'm post-mai-tais at sunset waiting for someone to get out of the shower to hit GFY warmup - I can hear the band (LIT) blowing nice and clean rock'n'roll from my room on the 27th floor and am glad I "lit" out of there (WAHAHAH) when I did - though a cool show, there's no tawking going on down there now.

Also - they lifted the smoking ban around the pools and the Splash Bar for the length of the show. I heard it was due to Internext threatening to pull out, and one waiter simply told me "Everyone's smoking, we can't tell everyone to stop or put it out..." and he brought me a beer cup with water in the bottom.

Score one for the nicotine fraternity, I guess...

MaiTais had the cobas on trays and cola and beer on tap for free. No one with the finger food would tell me what I was eating - seems their orders were to say "Just try it".

GFY warmup was GFY warmup. The Ballroom was the east one, close enough to the smoking balcony to keep it all flowing and going smooth. Had a great time, meeting and remeeting, just a couple girl-noying drunks and overall sweet. Bedtime was the best, being travel day and all that... man, was SOO frigging burnt.

Got in pretty late last night (midnight) and ended up being the only sober guy at the party (which never happens)... Caught up quick and enjoying myself ever since :thumbsup

I so wanted to be there... oh well Internext Vegas 2007 here I come :)

LIT was pretty good last night for the warmup party, so far a very calm show. Im sure it will be a crazy day today. Dont forget to stop by Cabana 26 for Party Like a Porn Star party passes

Got passes to all the parties so far, from The Greek Dinner to the Pornstar parties (there's a few). Don't know which I'll get to depends on how long it takes to get the sponsor stuff off the boat after the cruise.

So far our yacht party tickets are damn hot items at the show... got someone asking me for spares every half-hour or so...

Caught a seminar (Marketting, pretty good for once)... apart from that mostly schmoozing by the pool, meeting the masses, enjoying the free booze... got to avoid all the "show stoppers" (as in loud or nekkid babe shows that keep everyone from doing what we came here for).

Eight fucking dollars for a bottle of water in the hotel room (Fiji, filtered through volcanic rock for 2000 years... eight bucks, on principle, is wrong).

Swim. Talk with the people with brains. Watched models and content chicks try to go swimming and not fuck up their hair or make up. Forgot to call mom. Ramos is one of the judges (Rinaldo too I think) of the wet t-shirt contest put up by Adult Rental. Another chance to go out to the smokers gallery and schmooze the crowd who is not impressed (or too hooked on tobacco to bear with the wet silicones).

Met dudes from Europe, slavs and Romanians... more and more of these crazed programming geniuses here. They have to learn more english. Or hire reps, instead of sending vp's and programmers...

Nearly got kicked out/in to the hotel 'cause i left my badge on my towel by the pool when I went in to get smokes... if this is boring please stop me I'm rambling and drunk here :)

Was there drama? No, quite calm. There's a film crew following Vid Vicious and LiveCamNetwork girl Violet for Webdreams II.

Stephen Yaglieowicz is here from XBiz with his wife. Cool guy. Hitting the yacht tomorrow...

That's it for now, gotta go back, the wet t-shirt thing is probably done andthe party is truly beginning...

So far so good!

Had a great dinner with the Paycom crew last night then came back to the hotel to chillax by the pool for a while. Checked out the wet tshirt contest which by that time had only one tshirt. Looked like a well done event. Went back to the pool, then inside to the lobby. So far so good!
